Il pasto delle iene
The meal of the hyenas in Harar.
19.30/20 every evening around this gentleman (and others of his family before him) to give food a nice bunch of hyenas 15-20, just outside the city walls'. It 's not clear if his predecessors have all died quietly in their beds ...
This strange relationship with hyenas going on for several centuries later, it is said, the vision of a mystic. In the city walls there was a special door, a hole about a meter, to allow the hyenas to get the night time and 'was allargato per farci passare pure le persone.
La nostra guida ci ha detto che durante "il pasto" non si sono mai verificati attacchi, solo qualche volta di notte nei vicoli.
Merce' 25 birr si puo' pure aiutare il signore a nutrire le simpatiche bestiole che si ammazzano dalle risate azzannandosi tra loro per avere la precedenza (ma sempre dopo la matrona capobranco).
Lui le chiama per nome e ti dice a chi dare il pezzettino di carne posato su un bastoncino di 15 cm.
Rivedendo le foto mi son chiesta: "Come cavolo ho fatto???"
